Cook up a Croatian lunch or dinner with a local chef during a cooking class in Split. You’ll start with a tasting of local wine and liqueurs, then create a traditional meal under the eye of an award-winning local chef. Choose from a morning or afternoon option; afternoon classes just include the cooking, but morning classes also include a visit to a fish and vegetable market — although if you prefer, make a request to skip it and head straight to the kitchen.
We would start at 09:00 with green and fish market and than walk to unique cooking class. You would cook with famous Chef and with his assistance will prepare delicious lunch that will be served at noon time, accompanied with Croatian wines. (Chef would meet you next to Green market)
Usually we would prepare 5 different dishes based on fish, shells and shrimps (this we could skip and make another fish dish), local vegetables, fruits and spices (home made bread, carpaccio, risotto, home made pasta, gregada, fish stew, …)
Basically we do all fish and local fruits and vegetables, but could include meat and / or ingredients or dishes that you prefer.
Dalmatian dessert will also be prepared, all the recipes you can repeat at home :)
If there are any special requirements or allergies, it would be great to know in advance.
Gluten free option is not a problem.
At the end of the course, you will take your seat at our dining table and enjoy the meal, the wine, and the atmosphere. Program is finished at 14:00.
