The flight starts by gliding over the Sinj field and crossing over the slopes of Kozjak towards Trogir. This small, Dalmatian town with a rich history and beautiful city center is a pleasure for all the senses. Each stone built into the walls and narrow alleys tells its own story from the time of the Greeks, Romans and Venetians.
There, the view of the Kaštela Bay appears as we continue our flight towards Rogoznica and Primošten. This is a great opportunity to see the famous Dragon’s Eye lake in Rogoznica from a bird’s eye view. The old town of Primošten is situated on a small island which is connected with the mainland. Primošten attracts tourists with its interesting architecture, beautiful beaches and crystal clear waters.
Soon we will see the city of Šibenik on our right-hand side, where the contours of the Kornati islands will start to emerge. Šibenik is the only city in Croatia and one of only a few cities in the world where you can find as many as two UNESCO protected monuments.
These are the Cathedral of St. James and the Fortress of St. Nicholas. The Kornati National Park is often mentioned as “nautical paradise” in tourist publications. There are 89 unforgettable islands. The flight over these interesting cliffs, miniature islands and reefs takes about fifteen minutes, and ends with a turn towards Šibenik, where we leave Kaštela Bay on our left-hand side.
The trip ends with flying over the town of Sinj and landing at the airport.
