This panoramic flight starts with the passage over Krka waterfalls and the beautiful monastery located on the small island of Visovac. With seven travertine waterfalls and a total drop of 224 m, Krka National Park is a natural and karst phenomenon. Home to 860 plant species and over 200 species of bird. The forest surrounding the Krka river is rich with life and an unavoidable point for all nature lovers.
Then we continue by flying over the slopes of Velebit, from where we can enjoy the view of the beautiful Lika landscape. Velebit is one of the most important natural areas in the Balkans and situated on the Adriatic coast of Croatia. It hosts two national parks, a biosphere reserve and several wonderful old-growth forests, deep canyons, ancient open lands and exciting wildlife like
There, we will reach the trip’s highlight– the flight above Plitvice Lakes, a unique pearl of nature and one of the ten most beautiful nature parks in the world. The stunning scenery in the national park was created by the flow of water over limestone that over time created travertine barriers that resulted in waterfalls, lakes, and caves.
Plitvice Lakes National Park has 16 lakes and 90 waterfalls that are arranged in a cascading form. The water in the lakes change colors, and may appear green, blue, aquamarine, turquoise, or even grey at time
